Fuel Gauge Blown Resistor? If your gauge reads between 1/4 and 1/2 tank and will move between empty empty and that same high position, it has a blown resistor on the back of the gauge. The gauge will pass the ground out and no ohm’s input test by swinging from full to empty. (Full when the ohm input is removed and empty when the ohms wire is grounded out). But by inputing 90 ohms it will only past 1/4.
